Liver is high in Vit K too. My dog Sunshine has low Vit K level I boil up some liver and give it to the dogs water and all. Gives them gas but it's great for their blood.

A few years back, one of my big dogs helped himself to a pkg of rat poison bars from the open trunk of a visitor's car. I found him eating it, and he'd already eaten half of one of the bars. I took the remainder away, secured him in the fenced yard and called the vet.

The vet told me to drench him with a large dose of Hydrogen Peroxide - I used two doses of 30cc each. The H2O2 caused the dog to vomit. Almost immediately. He got rid of everything! Then took him to the vet to check and address Vit K levels in the blood. He turned out fine.

OP, I hope your baby continues to do well and makes a complete recovery.

Yeah, what nehimama said! Having a dog is a good reason to keep some peroxide on hand to help them yak up whatever it is they ate, and in this case, before the poison could get into their system.

I got my dog used to me sticking my hand in her mouth for whatever it was she snarfed up. Could always tell from the look on her face if it was something she prolly shouldn't have!

Alfalfa powder also helps with clotting (the reason behind the Vitamin K, I am assuming?). Glad to hear that your dog is much improved!!!
