Thanks for the info braggscowboy. How did you happen to know about them?
Don't worry beowoulf90, I rarely spend over $40.00. It's the hunt of good items I can get for cheap, that is the fun in it for me.
I have been to several auctions, it's lots of fun for me.

Thanks for the info.
I have a large number of jars with the K in the keystone symbol. I'll have to see if I can turn up any advertising put out by them. I've really enjoy finding out about my little set of mason jars.
Can't remember what I paid for them but I know it wasn't in the $2 -$3 price range. I remember that the enighbor's son was trying to get me to buy all the wire bail jars but I had just been gifted over a 100 from another neighbor two streets over.

flowergirl, I am a collector of many things, know a lillte about a lot of things in the collectible field. Antiques are my things. I really like the outlaw and indian thing since I live in OKla. Judge Parkers court is only about 70 miles from where I live. At one time, more people are said to have been killed by outlaws and bad guys within 50 miles of where I live than anywhere in the US. Belle Starr roamed the hills around where I live. But back to the jars. I do have a few jars, but I also have a fruit jar book and I looked it up. Some of the jars are worth hundreds of dollars (if you can find them) and the auctions is a good place as well as garage sales. Pop bottles are big where I live, the painted bottles and the ones from Okla. My book does not say where made, but maybe in Penn. with the keyhole shape. Let me know if you find other kinds, probally in my book. Shows pictures of trade marks. Knox ,ade am earlier version in script on the side. Glad to help.

Something i found on a web search..

"K in a keystone: Knox Bottle Company/Knox Glass Associates. Knox PA and other plant locations (1924-1968). I don't know anymore about the jar."

Don't know if that helps refine the search
