Yes, in upstate South Carolina it is a constant battle to keep it out.
My garden used to be 75' X 75'. I cut it down to 40' X 40' and I have to go around the edge of it the keep the bermuda grass from taking over. Even in the hot dry summer when everything else dies the bermuda keeps going strong.

Your garden is beautiful.
