You'll be fine.
For me, homesteading is a love of learning and of doing. This stuff will come quickly to you. You'll figure it out as it comes your way.
I will caution you, though. Sometimes I see folks take on too much, too quickly. One day they are living in suburbia, and a week later they've bought 16 horses, 3 tractors, 2 trucks, 498 chickens, three hay balers, 14 dogs, 44 cats, 78 hogs, and plowed a garden big enough to feed a small city. And then, they wonder why they are so overwhelmed and are broke.
Just take the things you want, and add them slowly to your homestead.
