Behind the pedal grinder is a blacksmith small forge w/blower & some tools. but you probably knew that. The blower needs a long wooden handle. We use one quite like that. I'd bid on pretty much everything at that auction, depending on interest. The stuff looks useable. But useable w/good decals, etc., is also collectible. I have my mil's kitchen stuff, which she bought in the 30's & 40's. Sue

I have a 1929 John Deere G.P. two cylinder, iron wheel tractor. So far its been just a show toy, but soon it will be powering a cord-wood saw. I love the old tools and machinery the best. Its so much easier to fix and repair anything on these old gems. The new equipment is more efficient but, needs special mechanics to keep it running. The best way to keep the old favorites alive is to use it for a chore at least once a year. The old tractor will help buck up the firewood for the house and the sugar shack.

Nice collection of stuff! The unidentified thing with the Sandwich mfg, looks like an old corn shucker.

Curtis B, not sure if I will go to that auction or not as there is a nearby one the same day.

I have to wonder if a lot of the items will just go to Wichita folks with big bucks just because they are old or antique? Tough to bid against Boeing worker dollars if you get my drift.

Slightly toying with the idea of going to the preview day on Friday.

Lots of things I could use---but expect I'm too tight with my money to buy them.
