Would'nt you be able to use a horse manure fork...the ones sold at the farm store, metal tines. Just clip the support wires, bend the rines, and ypu should have a tool that looks just like that. My grandfather had a 8 foot weeder that was horse pulled. Used it in the corn when the first pin weeds start. Still have it, had to narrow it a bit so I could keep spare fingers handy.(it is from the 1920's era.) But same design, just alot bigger with 5 rows and a bit heavier finger. Mike
