What rest of the question? I lumped it all together with my answer. Physical pain is not funny just because it's someone else.

Any way to be some help.
yep as you see the U bend way is most common.
But you can stand them on edge and strap them to the sides.
OR
stand them at both sides and lean them in in a^ shape then strap em in.
Or
use the wood under them method

Well, in that case, I'm sure there's a very special seat reserved for you in heaven.

ETA: If it's of any consolation to anyone else I may have offended with my slight amusement at the thought of people being flung about the barnyard by cattle panels please note that I am equal opportunity in my (apparent) victimizing. I have laughed at myself and will continue to laugh at myself just as much as I laugh at others. They say laughing makes you live longer, after all. And I for one would like to be around to help others feel far superior well into the future.

You can carry them on top of a minivan. Either drooping (short trip) or putting 2X4s to support them (long haul).

I stand on the panel and grab an end. Then I back up on the panel until I can grab both ends. Then I stand it up on it's side. Then I slip one end past the other just like if you are wrapping it around a bale until it makes the circle small enough to fit on the trailer and tie it where the bars overlap. It takes some strength to make the circle and hold it while tying but 2 people should be able to do it fairly easily.

Remember that the ends of those heavy wires are SHARP, too. Gloves are recommended.

Good to know they can be loaded on the roof of an SUV. Around here they are very $$ and delivery is quite a lot too. Seems like the way to go though, at least for PBP's.

Put it in the back of your pick up truck with one end up and over the cab of your truck..Strap that end to your front bumper...put the other end in the back of your truck and strap it down..protect the cab of the truck with something if you dont want it scratched...I like ratchet straps for straping the panels.

Well, I would think the "hey y'all, hold my beer and watch this" method would go something like this:

Call up your buddy with a pick up truck. Arrange for him to meet you at the farm supply store. Drive your truck to store. Go inside, buy your hog panels. Put the tailgates down on both pick up trucks. Have buddy back his up to yours. Voila! 16 foot bed!

Lay panels down in truckbeds. Decide which one of you is best at driving backwards. Drive home.

We've only ever had to buy a few, but we had them cut in half before we left. Hubby asked real nice and they said "Sure". Gotta use the same amount of posts reguardless so we didn't have a problem with it. Worked for what we needed tham for anyway.

Not even the Stooges? What a loss.

10' 2x4 on top of the roof is enough to support 16' panels. Apply ratchet straps and flags and away you go.

I moved my 24' greenhouse down I-75 atop my Ford Ranger. It is a well know fact you cannot get your redneck decoder skoal can if you can't moved what needs movin. It's just like Drill Sgt. Hauk said: "Can't never did a ---- thing".

Funny you should ask about the Stooges. As a child, I could *not* watch them because their behavior made me so uncomfortable.

Just my quirk, I guess.

But I can move livestock panels safely!

We have brought several home from TSC in our Dakota, which has an 8 foot bed. To do this I stood on one end of the panel while DH brought the other end over to meet the end I was standing on. We then took 3 carabiners that we use on our key rings and clipped the two ends together evenly spacedon each end and in the middle. We then placed the pannels on the bed of the truck, resting on the wheel wells in the bed and strapped it in at both ends of the bed. We hung a flag off the end of the bed and off we went. It works pretty well.

We have transported these crazy things in different ways. We have cut them in half and put them in the back of a truck, we have strapped the whole panels to the roof of a van, we have stuck them in the back of the truck and had the other half over the cab... You just need to decide what you want to use them for and be creative. Having them cut in half was very handy for smaller pens.

Naw...
they're more dangerous when you 'unfold' them.

I've spread em over the hood of my truck, tying off on the front bumper, and tying off on the back bumper. Throw the spare on top of them in the back, and get home.

Also 'conestoga wagon'd' em, looping em in the truck.

All the hardware stores around here will deliver, for a small charge, on small orders, no charge on larger ones.

And now I have visions of them unfolding like a mousetrap and slamming me into the ground
I dont know of anyplace near me that sells them, and Tractor Supply is 30 minutes away on a highway
