Buying used vehicles .

Carfax is not required to report accident or major repairs, unless a 3rd party reported it to them..

The only really good thing for Carfax, is title history, which can be helpful, if you can read between the lines.

If someone only owned it 3 months, or a dealer had it on their lot, for 9 months, I'd be wondering, what is wrong with it.
