Usually not a whole lot; usually goes to pallet mills although they are making some flooring out of it now.

If you see something made out of Pecan there is a chance that it is hickory because they are related and the wood looks almost the same.

If you ask a squirrel for the nut factor a lot

If you ask a logger most would leave it for the squirrels

You probably had Black Walnut trees. They might have been worth a couple/few hundred $$ if you could find a buyer.

Smells really nice when you cut it. I build guitars with it occassionally. Claro (California Walnut) is a little more prized (at least in the lutherie industry).

14 At the butt probably 10 at the small end which means 23 foot Doyle scale. Current prices on 2A which this is probaby is 27 cents. You about 6 to 12 dollars in the log if you sold it.

I would get a local knowledgeable person to physically look at the trees and give you a better idea of what they are worth.
