As for me, I just want to go poke through the cellar and the old original house. Thats where I get my kicks lol. I saw old blue mason jars in there and some old rose dishes. Hoping that old house has some old cabinets or an antique kitchen sink or a claw foot tub we can salvage! The door was open and it looked enticing in there but there wasn't time to explore.....
It sounds like paradise to me! I love old houses...they have such character. Poking around and finding hidden treasures is my kinda fun =)

You know, I never thought we'd leave our other farm, but then the lovely "PATH Project" came through surveying for their new mega line and messed everything up... I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that now. This farm is considerably farther out in the boonies!
Congratulations! What a super Christmas present!

My daughter has a metal detector were planning to run around the old house. I know most really old houses had someplace they buried/ burned trash. I've went thru a few of those before! I've found everything from crockery to depression glass to zinc canning lids! Whats the most interesting things y'all have found?
