Anybody watch Christmas in November with Sam Elliot?

Darn good movie. Didnt have a dry eye through it.

mamaof3peas 11/28/10 11:51 PM

Totally agree!! I was crying whole way through!

empofuniv 11/29/10 04:33 AM

I sure wish Sam Elliot would make more movies.

It was really a good movie...but I watched it mostly for the chance to see Sam Elliot.

goatlady 11/29/10 07:17 AM

Absolutely grand movie!! I'm soo glad it had a happy ending. Sam Elliot doesn't mess around with carp, he always choses good scripts to participate in.

Wisconsin Ann 11/29/10 07:29 AM

What you all said :) I'd pay good money to see another Sam Elliot and Tom Selleck western.

bradc 11/29/10 07:34 AM

ditto's to the Elliot and Selleck western. They both make great shows.

Texasdirtdigger 11/29/10 08:00 AM

Really good movie.

FarmboyBill 11/29/10 09:38 AM

Since they both make civilian movies, I guess they both think there too old to make cowboy movies. Im waiting for True Grit for my Cowboy Fix

mustangsally17 11/29/10 09:42 AM

Yes! Awesome movie!

Jim-mi 11/29/10 11:38 AM

Good stuff....................

Sonshine 11/29/10 12:59 PM

I completely missed it. Does anyone know if it'll be back on this year?

Debbie in Wa 11/29/10 01:12 PM

Oh c*** I missed it. Oh well it will be out to buy in a couple of days at the Hallmark store and I will buy it then. My collection of Hallmark movies is getting bigger and bigger. By the way, if you are into movies from them, you have got to see Faith Like Potatoes. Now that was an awesome movie. I had never heard of it but bought it on a whim. Best buy movie ever.

Since it's your birthday, we would be happy to loan you a VHS of it that we taped last night. Since we never stay up past 9PM, and since we absolutely hate TV advertising, we decided to tape it. We'll probably watch it tonight, then it will be availabe to loan out. Just PM me your address.

DamnearaFarm 11/29/10 02:28 PM

I've never seen it (wonder if it's available online to watch) but I agree with the folks who love Sam Elliot. We watched him a few days ago as the marshall in 'Did You Hear What Happened To The Morgans?' I know it's a not a new movie, but we're kinda slow here, lol!

FarmboyBill 11/29/10 07:21 PM

Never heard of it. What its about?

barnyardgal 11/29/10 07:53 PM

That is so sweet of you. Sending a pm now. :)

:indif: I couldn't stand it! Waaaaay too much syrup for me. Turned it off after about 20 minutes and went to bed to read. :)

kidsnchix 11/29/10 10:46 PM

It was a good movie and Sam Elliot never looked better

Sammy 11/30/10 09:50 AM

Missed the first 10 minutes of it.

Kstornado11 11/30/10 09:57 AM

I watched it also cried all the way through! My mom was also watching it at her house, & I knew she was dying when he had his shirt off, she's always been crazy about him!

empofuniv 11/30/10 11:02 AM

"and since we absolutely hate TV advertising"

I was very surprised to notice that during the special only Hallmark commercials were shown...and the commercials were short too! I stopped to watch the first Hallmark commercials thinking I'd make a quick run to the loo during the other commercials and wow...there wasn't any other subject matter commercials besides the Hallmark ones!

I'd probably stand in line to watch Sam Elliot read from a phone book!

I agree CF! Yes, it was a really good movie, but boy - those Hallmark commercials can really pull at the heartstrings too.

Cabin Fever 11/30/10 03:15 PM

Well, the reason that I didn't think it was filmed in Canada was that no one was saying "eh" after each sentence.
