What is your best sore throat remedy?

I use salt water it works all the time. I just got over a sore thoat Only took me 2 day to get over using salt water.
I remember my dad mixing up jack Daniels, honey and lemon to give to us at night when we were sick with a sore throat. I think it was to help him get a good night sleep and not to have us waking him up wining with a sore thoat. LOL

Traditional Medicinals: Throat Coat tea - for the sore throat. Gypsy Cold Care tea - for the general cold.

Cayenne pepper will clear out your lungs

You can get it in capsules if you don't like it sprinkled in your food. If you're OK with over the counter meds Mucinex (or generic) really does help.

Jack Daniels is sippin' whiskey for sure, Evan Williams is for drinking, and Scotch Whiskey (ugh!!) is just medicine in the cabinet for gargling anytime you feel a sore throat coming on. I'd spit it out though, no tellin' where that strange taste comes from, but it works realy well for sore throat, both preventative and treatment.
