I made my raised beds out of them and plant marigolds in the block holes to deter bugs.

I also made my fire pit out of them.

If I had that many, I would build an outdoor chimney/fire place and pizza oven.

Compost bin, raised beds, footings for a new barn/chicken coop/shed, retaining wall, tie them to the ankles of 2,000 lawyers (j/k, j/k!).

If you were closer... I'd come down and take some off your hands!!!

Hi,
Look into SBC or surface bonding cement its a way that a regular joe without brick laying experiance can build a wall that is stronger than a regular brick layed wall its also water proof if done correctly.
A root celler is what I would recomend I had planned one on my farm as a test bed for practise before building a bermed house.
Although I do agree that we need to cull lawyers.

If I had that many blocks, I would build a root cellar; and with what is left over, some raised beds for "root" crops.

Concrete blocks are my idea of real life legos. You hit the jackpot. All these are great ideas.
I made 14 raised beds. 2 blocks high, 8 feet long and four feet wide. I use a small kneeling cushion to sit on as I work my way around planting, weeding and picking. LOVE the pictures---how beautiful those beds are.

Surface bonding cement is not cheap, but it cuts labor and is a good surface coat.
One issue is being able to use the surface bonding cement on both sides of the vertical structure. Rebar and concrete mix are additional expenses.

Concrete block are partly like lego's. You can make something that looks like an airplane, but it won't fly. You did not say what you paid (not asking). I inquired a few years ago and found a local cement company which made the block. The price delivered was half the purchase price at the big box. ($1.13 each back then) If your best plan requires more block, just inquire in your area.

I also like auctions and have purchased a few things that were more than I anticipated. Sometimes the bargain price is only a minor reduction in the total project cost. good luck
