Get the Bergman or a silverwing. They get there fast,are easy to maintain,and its not 25 years old. The V65 Magna was a great bike in its day, but as they age it can get ugly. I ride a 96 Gpz1100, and I love it, but I keep on top of all the maintenance and can go through the motor if need be in my sleep.

No, it doesn't translate directly to horsepower and I wasn't trying to imply that it did. I'm saying that there's no real need for an 1100cc bike unless you're trying to haul a whole motorhomeload of cobbled-on accessories. And no, I'm not trying to say that all 1100cc bikes could handle that kind of a load. I just don't see someone needing an 1100cc as an everyday bike - either one that goes like a bat out of a can or one that can't get out of its own way. It's an unnecessarily large displacement. You don't need to buy a bike that gratuituously guzzles gas like a two-wheeled H2. You can get the job done on a good 750. If you can't, you're on the wrong 750.
