I used to think the more the merrier. Now that I'm a grown up and pay my own feed bills, I appreciate the ol' quality, not quantity adage.
14 Rabbits (Silver Fox and Thrianta, with 2 litters on the way.)
18 Chickens (Mostly Delawares, plus a few Brahma and Orloff pullets and their Chantecler boyfriend.)
1 Dog of questionable heritage
My goal is to spend the winter saving for fencing and goats, and get started in that direction next year. Probably Alpines or Toggs. A pig or two may or may not be added to the mix, and I'm contemplating Texas A&M Quail due to their quick turn-around and instant gratification.

A BUNCH of chickens, haven't counted, probably around 50. Silkies, some heavy breeds, a few cross breed mutt chickens. Mostly hens/pullets, and about 5 roos. 11 ducks, Pekins, runners, and a pretty pair of blue dutch or blue swedish or whatever they're called. We had Cornish X's and 6 turkeys, but they are in the freezers now, or have been canned up.
Two dogs; a deer faced chee hwah hwah, and a genteel, ladylike basset.
Would like to eventually try a milk animal of some sort, likely a goat, but I have no experience with them, and as the boys are small and take most of my time, I don't feel I should take on that endeavor just now.

Goats, LaManchas, 19 total with 4 going in the freezer and 3 swapped for hay and 3 for sale.
Chickens, new batch of Welsummers and Partridge Cochin banties, plus the 2 hens that managed not to get eaten by the pair if Barn owls, this spring
Rabbits, number varies by the time of year.
Dogs, 3 Chihuahuas and 1 Anatolian Shepard
Cats, 3 good mousers & ratters and one good for letting mice loose in the house!
I am envious of all the parrots I saw listed. I always wanted one but couldn't justify the cost with trying to raise 5 boys.

5 Nubian goats: 3 does, a buck, and a wether.
20-ish Chickens: will be cutting down for winter.
3 Silkies: for hatching eggs
9 muscovy ducks: will be butching one drake before winter.
2 cats
2 dogs: St. Bernard (Duncan) and Australian Shepherd (Rhonin)
I'm trying to grow the ducks for meat, the chickens for eggs and meat, and the goats for milk, soap, cheeses, and yogurt. I'm brand new to the country (4 years) and am finally starting to have some success
