3 Hereford x Angus bred cows and 1 heifer
1 Jersey heifer bred to a Dexter bull
1 Gelbvieh x Jersey bull (going to freezer camp next month)
2 yearling Holstein steers (to be sold next month)
15 hens and 1 rooster
2 dogs

We usually raise a couple pigs every other year and a bunch of broilers the other years.
I have cut down a lot. I used to have 18 head of cattle, a dozen or so goats, a couple of horses, more poultry. That was much more than we needed so we are scaling back to be more sustainable and not have so many animals to care for.

Ravenlost, you have 16 dogs? You must be a saint : )

Hey, callieslamb, I have a sun conure too. I'll try and post a pic later.

We have:
2 horses
5 dogs (mostly little ones)
9 cats
1 sun conure
3 turkeys
4 geese
6 ducks
and around 2 doz chickens (all kinds)

Dh says there are too many. He worries I do too much work everyday. But I love taking care of them, only wish there were more hours in the day.

13 goats, pygmy and boar-nubian cross (sell goat milk soap and love their milk!)

about 225 laying hens and 4 roosters and 30 more baby chicks set to arrive this week (sell farm fresh eggs from happy chickens)

seven rabbits, five Angora (I'm TRYING to learn to spin), two lop, and one rescue. (all make GREAT fertilizer)

approximately 45 Musckovy ducks (including around 20 baby ducklings)...sell their eggs, they eat LOTS of flies, and they are SO FUNNY to watch!

5 extremely spoiled cats (all rescues)

one spoiled dog (rescue)

will be getting even more laying hens as spring approaches, and hope to get a Great Pyranees puppy as soon as our bigger field is fenced!

Hope this helps (included what we use each animal for!)

Wanna guess?
Around 100 chickens give or take of varying breeding groups/breeds
Midget White, Bourbon Red and a few useless Royal Palm turkeys.
Meat rabbits that I am trying to unload..er.. pass on to someone who isn't burned out on rabbits
Two fiber rabbits
Two weathered Saanen weedeater/bottle baby pet goats (to warm DH up to the idea of gaots for milk..didn't work..I don't care)
Two dogs
Two cats..one pushing 19

Wow.. when I type it up like this is looks a little Noah-ish..

2 horses
8 Nigerian Dwarf goats
16 chickens
2 honorary goats (aka Great Pyr LGD's)
5 pet dogs
6 pet cats
1 rabbit
2 Zebra finches

I hope to add a few turkeys next year, probably Midget Whites. I also really want some milk cows, but that's a ways off considering we only have 5 acres.

Other side of the world but pretty similar:
10 milking cows
1 Angus Bull
8 MA beef cattle
33 Sheep, 18 of which are breeding ewes - and their lambs right now
1 Romney ram
9 Pigs
3 Dogs - 2 x Heading and 1 x BC
3 Cats
4 Chooks
1 Goose and 1 Muscovey Duck, neither of which do anything except eat!

.... and to follow an earlier post, which I found quite humorous, the associated wildlife that goes with owning a bit of dirt.

2 pygora nanny goats, had 3, 8 babies this year, sold 6 and 1 nanny, butchered 2, kept 1 for future. Milk for us, meat, fiber for Sweeties knitting projects.
2 rabbit does with 19 future pot fillers right now
3 Buff hens, let 1 hen hatch 9 chicks, kept 2 for future hens, ate the rest
Yellow perch for hydroponic greenhouse and fishing pond, fun, relaxation and cheap food. Vegy's fruit and meat
Always a raccoon somewhere most of the time although you can have all you want after I take the ones I want for jerky. I have 2 hanging in the spring house and 2 in the smoker....James
