white vinegar...that is our current spray for everything b/c our wonderful mutt is a nose dog!

Completely dominate him whenever you catch him in the act - Interrupt him, and make him roll over on his back while you stand over him. Physically put him in that position if you have to, then make him stay in it until he relaxes.

Once he does, move him to where you want him to go, then wait until he does. When he does, make sure to reward him with plenty of praise.

I house broke a stray boxer this way in a grand total of two indoor messes. It will work anywhere, you simply have to claim the area as yours. If you are the pack leader, the dog will respect your authority.

It is obvious.

You will need to build a new garage. The dog and friends will go to the new garage to poop. Once the pattern is established, you will then be able to use the old garage. The dogs will have their own new garage for pooping. Everybody will be so very happy.
