Looks like the Husqvarna group makes several brands of garden, forestry, and maintenance products. Husqvarna (obviously), Gardena, Poulan, WeedEater, Partner, Jonsered, RedMax, Zenoah, Flymo....I am sure the brands are all built for different markets and price points/quality levels....

Yep, I use carbide-tipped blades when cutting brush. They never have to be sharpened.

We just bought a little Stihl F55 trimmer. Nice and light. They make an easy start version too but it looked more complicated. Not saying its the best and it wasn't cheap. (under $300) but so far so good. We have a 10 year old Stihl too only its pretty big.
