My favorite is the FREE Blackhawk 1 1/2 ton floor jack that I fount at the county landfill--rusty and stuck, more water than oil in it, and lookin' like junk. Some cleaning, TLC and a refill with oil, sandblast and some paint followed. It's been working like a new one for the past 8 years in my farm repair shop. Last week I used it to lift a 5 foot New Holland round baler. And it STAYS up. For days at a time. Would love to be able to buy a new one as good.

Other Jacks have their place too. Apple Jack is high on my list.
