Might want to take a sander to the inside too just to remove the outer layer.

Why tell anyone it's an outhouse? Make some cosmetic modifications, and no one will be the wiser.

why not..it has been aired out..you might want to power wash it as was suggested..you never know what might have been used in it..in the past..or touched the walls..you can add some detergent to the power washer and get it good and clean

Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer realizes the logic of cooking all his meals in the shower.
- Timesaver - just get up. Hop in the shower and get cooking - do two things at once!
- Don't have to worry about clothes getting messy
- Easy clean up. Just turn on the shower and let the mess go down the drain. He installed a garbage disposal in the floor.

In tha episode, he prepared an entire dinner for friends while he was in the shower!

When my DH was building our little smokehouse, my mom came over and said, "What's he building, an outhouse??"
