I pour it on from the sides. It usually ends up sloshing on some of the leaves and up against the base of the plant. I don't turn the bucket over on top of the plants but it does end up touching them. No burning though.

I'm sure you'd be appalled by some of the things we do here. Unimaginable is a far nicer way of putting it.

I've put rabbit pellets on everything I've planted, urine in it or not. Corn, beans, matters, okra, peppers, maple tree, nandinias. Everything does great....also made tea to put on a cabbage for a contest, biggest cabbage I've ever seen.

We don't seperately collect urine and manure either from our rabbits and we have never had a problem.

This link shows where rabbit manure stands in relation to others. Although it's a site which sells rabbit manure, there is no exaggeration as to its NPK analysis. Most others are close except that the sheep & goat nitrogen content could be arguable.
