Well, it depends on whom you ask in my family - the kids keep telling me "No More!" But most of ours are edible, so there's always a way to dispose of them if necessary.
We claim one house cat, two barn cats.
3 ewes and 8 lambs, one of which is the new herd sire and two are replacement ewes.
3 butcher sheep to be fattened
3 piglets, one of which is a whole-roast-pig for Memorial Day
8 rabbits
bunch of hens and 3 too many roosters
13 butcher chickens going into the freezer tomorrow
dozen chicks still growing
30 turkey eggs in the incubator
30 duck eggs in the incubator
dozen chicken eggs in the incubator
30 ducks, several of whom are incubating unnumbered eggs out there somewhere
Ok, shear numbers - that's a lot! However, they all have a purpose and will cycle through the freezer eventually. Hopefully not all at once, because then we'd need yet another freezer....
