My barn isn't ugly. It's the junk heaps around it that are ugly.

whitewolf--that's sooo purty! yup, i like that one.

we bought our property mainly for the barn. the houses stunk and we've since burnt them down and rebuilt a new home, but the barn is getting fully used--we have a room that can be totally closed off and kept warm=brooder for chicks and baby pigs. the milking area (used to be for cows) is now my dairy goat loafing area. the other side has a workshop. if its kept up fairly well, as in no huge piles of junk that isnt' useful (garbage) then any barn is fine.

I'd be happy with any barn.

So exactly how ugly is this thing, anyway? Got pics?

We could help you with decorating tips, LOL!!!

Our barn was the office when our farm was a strip mine. It's one of those half circle things. It's in front of our house close to the road.

If we came into a ton of money (like millions) after we gave to the church, paid all debt, set up funds for out kids (at least one will never be independent, not sure about the other), and do all the necessary things we'll tear down that old barn, move our current home and remodel it to be a caretaker cottage. Then, we'll tear down the barn and build a new home and a fancy barn. Right now it does the job, and does it quite well.
