In that part of Ohio the winds cut through the houses no problem. I've had pipes freeze and burst there. As long as she insulates good like it sounds she is she should be alright.

I'm on 224. You've probably noticed the coop if you've driven by....it's pretty noticeable! LOL

I'm thinking of moving the coop towards the barn more so it is partially protected...and turning the low side of the shed roof towards the west (which puts the front door to the east).

Where would I fasten the chain? I borrowed a big ol' Massey with a bucket to pull it back over...just need to figure out how! Would I run the chain all the way over the top of the upside-down coop, and back down the other side and hook it there? My biggest concern is that the overhang is a couple feet deep, and I'm afraid I'll snap it off when it flips. This is the second time it's happened! The first time, the guy digging my basement just shoved it over with a bull-dozer, I think. (I wasn't there). Poor chickens were in it at the time!

I'm going to stake it down once I get it moved!
