There are 1,266,000 entries under my name.
There are 404 men in the United States with "my Name".
One is a Realtor in Alaska. One an actor from England.
Interesting, hunnh.

I have a fairly unusual last name, but there are some others out there. I have no idea if they are relatives or not. There was a noted naval officer with the same name a couple hundred years ago around coastal VA, and there are streets and things named for him.

Most of the hits from my name are actually me - website for work, some publications, a farm internship I posted eons ago (!), as a board member on the neighborhood association, member of clubs, etc. I actually hoped I would find something amusing, but apparently it's just me and one other person on facebook!

I only show up once due to a testamonial I did for some items I had purchased online - btw, it was a good review.

I've tried it. The results are VERY wrong. I has the correct "beginning address" for me then says I lived 2-3 more places in states I've never been too...then catches up with the "real me" again. DH is the funniest, it has him about 20+ years older then he really is! Explains why he has been getting AARP applications since his 29th birthday.

I Googled my name a couple of years ago.

I'm an artist, with plenty of showings and doing quite well, and the other me is a stripper, or some other risque worker..type... thing... I think.
I better go look at that again.

Shortly before my now Xson in law was to marry dd he was called to court for harassment charges.
The proceedings went for awhile, prosecuting attorney thought he had nailed the case.
Judge asked sil his name birthdate & SS# which was one digit off.
Everything else added up till she asked him his race, which was not the one of the accused.

Wow. That that could have absolutely ruined his life. Too scary.

About 3/4 of the hits on the first four pages are me.

I am not the person writing really bad poetry. If you knew me, the thought of my writing any poetry at all would make you laugh. Really.

I have a name that NOBODY else has and I still got 7,610 hits!!! Good grief! I guess you could say...I get around...

EDITED TO ADD: When I google my screen name, I get another 4,580 hits. But there are others who use that name so I probably account for only 3,500 of those.

Googling me pulls up 331 entries.
But it's not until page three that it's actually me. In a classmates.com list.

I don't show up again until page 5 in a page of published school board minutes. (DH and I talked to the board when we pulled DS out of school last winter)

What I find intriguing is that there is one other person with my name, and she's a teacher also. In Kansas City. lol
