Well, after a week of temps with lows in the low 40's, and highs in the 60's, good winds and a bit of rain over the past 24 hours, we can now see about a third of the yard and fields where the wind swept the snow away as it fell over winter - the rest of the open land and woods have up to 2' of snow yet.
We expect the peepers to sound off here as usual - some time about mid April.
Enjoy your bugs for the next few months as well, folks.
