As a kid I heard almost monthly of someone getting killed. Usually it was the power of the PTO running something or the PTO itself. I think them old farmers back in the day of the "new" power of tractors didn't understand the raw power they had. I think my grand-dad was more worried about me being around his horses than he was sitting on the fender of his tractor while pulling whatever implement that would either crush, cut, or pulverize you in the blink of an eye. I'm still here, thank the Lord.
