I also believe it is a mock up. On the link attached look at the bottom right and at the differential of an actual tractor. The differential of the true tractor does not appear the same as what is in the movie tractor. The rear steels wheels do appear to me to match.

which reminds me of a "junk" tractor a fellow showed me when i was purchasing an IH SMD. it was in a briar patch, had an industrial dodge/cryst inline 6, modified dodge transmission and rear end.....guy just wanted $125 for it.....went home, did a little research on it and found it to be a fairly rare Friday or Love tractor went back the next weekend,,,,,it was gone.....the next time i saw that tractor, with no work having been done on it....with a $4500 price tag on it. on the other hand i have one of, if not the last large engine built by the Reid company that i pick up by a series of lucky events for a song. i love that old iron and people that have it and the stories that go along with both.

Not to put too fine a spin on whats just a model of a tractor in a movie, but seems the 1935 and 1936 Oliver unstyled 70 had the slightly longer front apron than the '37 and newer unstyled 70. So the model in the movie would seem to be based on either 1935 or 1936. Also the very early ones came in different colors. Seems Oliver wanted to see what color would be most popular. Green was the favorite so they made it green.

Probably more than I ever wanted to know about old Olivers, but kinda interesting. Some guy in Colorado currently has a running unrestored 1937 with original Oliver loader for sale on ebay. Some good pics.
