If you put paneling over sheetrock for fire protection, take black or brown liquid shoe polish and stripe the seam so the sheetrock white wont show thru the seam of the paneling sheets.

I'm going to bet that anyone whose building a $5K cabin isn't putting in septic or, for that matter, counting the cost to dig a well, either.
Usually that kind of estimate excludes utility installation since those vary so greatly based upon location.
