Beeman: Wow that is unbelievable!

Years ago when the recreational use of oxycontin became apparent, the company that makes it was pressured to add another medicine that would block the high. The company said it would certainly look into that, that it was a very good idea and that they wanted the med to continue to be available for those who really needed it.

It is an excellent medicine especially for cancer patients, or any for whom it's important to not wake up in pain.

But you know what? That other medicine has not been added.

Oxycontin is the drug that my nephew (nieces husband) was delivering in a drug deal a week ago and he was shot 3 times. It severed his spinal cord and he is now a paraplegic. I wish more people would speak out on the dangers of drugs. Thank you for posting this.
