I eat before I go to bed. Not a whole lot but something. It's not good to wake up at 3 am so hungry your stomach hurts. Filling up on water before going to bed? Not a good idea. I don't like being woke up in the middle of the night by a full bladder.

I almost always eat a bowl of cereal with our own raw cow milk on it before bed and have no trouble sleeping. Before doing this routine I use to have a hard time sleeping through the night, and bad acid reflux. Use to take half dozen tums everynight just to try to sleep. Havn`t had a tums in almost two years after eating cereal and raw milk before bed time. Thanks Marc.

Really? My DH always sleeps on his right side and has to take meds for GERD. I'll see if I can get him to try this!

[QUOTE=seedspreader;4164021]High protein, low fat, complex carbs (no sugars/bread/simple carbs), lots and lots of veggies and fruits and eating 5 - 6 times a day.

Portion control + eating 5-6 times a day = never really too hungry.

Portion control + eating 5-6 times a day + the diet above = never really too hungry and weight loss.

Wow great job!!

you look great man! I've up to 90 pounds myself. Like you, I watch my portions, and exactly what are in those portions. If I eat rice, I eat brown rice. I try to steer clear of white potatoes as much as possible, but I will eat sweet potatoes; their fiber and lower glycemic index is a much better alternative. I try to work out/jog 5 miles a day at least 4 days a week. Drink lots of water, and stay away from refined processed foods and sugar.

Great job again!

Whoa dude. You lost a lot of weight in those pictures but your daughter aged horribly. Just kidding. Congrats on the weight loss.

They say if you want to eat something at night, before bed, make it high protein and not carbs. You'll burn off the protein, where as you will store the carbs as fat.
I too, am usually hungry before bed. I eat a yogurt with some nuts. It's filling, healthy and high protein and I sleep better
