LOL around here its 3 generations till your not the "newbie" of course we also have the "Old Durbins" and the "New Durbins"
The old ones got here about 1818 and the new ones about 1823........

I see nothing wrong with it as long as he asks to go on the land and he gets permission. I have a neighbor who has 75 acres and he hunts my 50 with permission. It is only wrong if you hunt the property without permission in my opinon.

First off you don't have to post the land when you move into a new area to be considered a newbe. If you didn't live in the area all your life and go to school there your shuned for any amount of time what ever the local custom is.
I fully agree with every thing Mike in Ohio has said so far. My land is posted any one who comes and knocks on the door is welcome to hunt the land ONCE. If they are careless, leave gates open, damage crops or leave a mess they are never again welcome. I feel the same way about hunting a neighbours land, will never happen till I knock on the door and ask for their permission every and each time.
TI'S SIMPLY RESPECT FOR YOUR FELLOW MANS RIGHTS.

Signs say to ask don't take it as your god given right just because you have hunted and fished there your whole life.
