We have a separator feeding a high pressure and then a low pressure regulator. The oil gets pulled off at the well beforehand. The separator contains alcohol to pull out moisture in the gas and prevent it from freezing. Our neighbor uses a natural gas fired Caterpillar diesel to run his sawmill. The Cat generates enough power to run the 200 hp motor.
You'll need a dirt leg on any lines to appliances. Those trap the particles in the gas and help slow orifices from blocking. I still need to clean orifices about twice a year.
