my heaven: I went to that site after reading all of the threads and i have that same playmate cooler that they have in that demo..that had a lot of good information and i think i might try it that way too..esp in the winter when i have registers pumping out warm air into the house..i'm very pleased with all the responses and have a lot of great ideas..thanks so much

I use the 'fankhauser' method too. works great.

In the summer I put the jars in an ice chest with several other bottles of hot water next to the jars of yogurt and leave them overnight. In the winter, I set my oven to 105 and leave them in there.
