Lisa ~

I'm fairly certain your home is the model the Lord will use when setting up my spot in heaven You are blessed... what a beautiful place you have!!! The snow.... ACK!!!!!!!! praying for a more *normal* winter this year, just to ease us in gently... ha ha. If you enjoy visitors, I would love to come up and say hello once we get settled. We were just in Priest River in late July but were house & property hunting so didn't spend the time we would have preferred to spend. Although, my husband and teenage daughter had quite a bit of time in the area trying to find a particular fishing spot a neighbor of my mom's tried directing them to... let's just say they spent 2 days, countless $$ in fuel, and many turn arounds due to *don't trespass, your life depends on it* signs ... never found the spot and didn't catch any fish!!!!

How did your daughter's first day of high school go? Scary day for a mom... she was probably excited as could be though!!!!

Hi Carmen!

Just wanted to say hello too. We live 5 miles from Kelso Lake (just south of Careywood), between Athol and Spirit Lake. We also homeschool (seems like everyone up here does LOL) and raise dairy goats, Boer goats and Great Pyrenees.

Also have a pole barn house...

Anyway, welcome to N. Idaho!

Camille

P.S. Lisa you just have to stop posting your pics! How can we shut the gates when you keep letting folks see so much natural beauty?!!! LOL Of course, the extreme snow pictures are Okay....

Hi Camille ~

It's just wonderful to *meet* some neighbors here already... and we aren't even moved in yet. We have Nubian does (only 2 for the family milk) and are looking forward to having a little more space to try our hand with a *dinner* goat, as our 5 year old calls them!!

Our home is truly a pole barn... hoping over the coming years to make it look a little more *homey*!!! I'll try linking a picture of it from the listing... I haven't downloaded our pictures yet from our camera.

Grr... can't figure out how to link direct... if you want to see our home, the mls # is 09-8874. Escrow should close the 22nd of this month and the moving trailer will be here next Wednesday!!!!! We are SO excited!!!

Hi Carmen,

Well, I was able to look it up! Sweet deal - 9 acres in the Little Blacktail area and what a great price! It might not look conventional, but that teeny mortgage sure makes it easy to sleep at night! Plus you can get more critters instead!!! LOL

Once you get settled in, give me a call if you'd like to come up for a visit (I know a gal with beautiful Nubians who can probably provide stud service for your goats ).
