We pay 16.5 cents per KWHr.
Connection charge is about $15/month.

Our coop locked in at a low rate for 15 years. Base is 3.8 cents/kwh and when you add up all the extras is 5.9/kwh. Pretty cheap compared to most places.

Dont you folks out in NW USA get lot of your electric from hydro generation, thus the cheap prices? I know they located aluminum smelters and such there to take advantage of the cheap electric.

I am really tick off at our electric coop. We are paying $0.11 per kwh. We have 2 electrically service, one for our main house and one back where we are planning on building. We have a camper and a well pump for watering the garden on the one in back. This winter we were paying $24 per month for this service. They have added a $20 service charge per services per month and raised the rates. Now the one in back is costing us $55 per month. In other words, we are paying an addition $480 per year then what we were paying last year. Its a bunch of carp!
