Trim wings, trim wings, trim wings. No wings means no flying things. Not even 3 feet.

I'm using the electronet fencing that I used last year with tractors to pasture my then-pullets. This year, they're day-ranging with two stalwart roos, but they remember to respect the net I'm hoping that this will work to deter all the other critters who covet my garden, too!

other garden critters

Last year we had a major rabbit problem in the garden early last spring. I was going to sit in a lawn-chair with a .22 and plink them at dusk. Fortunately, when the rest of the area greened up they found better pastures.

How about trimming their wing feathers so they can't fly like they trim parrots wings? I keep my chickens safe in a fenced yard.

My issue is that my big dog has figured it's easy to jump the fence & likes to lay in the garden rows.

Challenges keep coming..........
Looks like you have found a way. Last year the squirrels loved my tomatoes and got most of them. Since it is illegal to shot them I was just target practicing and they got in the way.
