Used to be just Trac Phone but now I see there are a few others like Virgin All-Tell and Net 10.
Anybody use any of these?
Comments good or bad?
Be sure to read the fine print. Here in Mo ATT deducts 8 "units" for each unit you use. buy 800 min and you get to use 100 before you run out.

In fact.. if you don't have this model phone.. you will end up like the neighbors.. walking all over their property and down the road looking for enough bars to use their phone.

Hands down.. Land line is still cheaper than any monthly Cell phone plan. Only costs me $30.00 a month for unlimited local and long distance calls.
$30 a month ? with who?

I have Virgin Mobile. It runs $80 per year (or $20 every 3 months) for the plan I have. I don't think they still currently run that plan, but they still have very reasonable ones. We don't use the cell phone for just chatting, only if we're checking in, need something, etc. I've had mine for several years and have no complaints. Actually it is getting better all the time--not too many dead zones anymore. I'd recommend them.

you can make your t mobile minutes last more than a year. all you have to do is buy any amount of minutes before the year is up and it extends all minutes remaining for another year. I have around 400 minutes left of the $100 1000 minutes. they will expire in June. I will only need to buy a $10 card to make the remaining 400 minutes last another year.

I like my Trac Phone. I live in VT where VT - NY and Canada meet. The cell phone contract we had before going to Trac Phone, had terrible reception (I had to sit on my front porch to get bars. This was cold in the winter!) and was $70 a month with 200min. We switched to Trac Phone because we almost never used the cell phone and when we needed it we couldn't get the bars! We have been very satisfied with Trac Phone. We get the $100 a year plan whih buys us 200 min a year but because we purchased a double for life plan several years ago, we actually get 400 a year. Since we do not use it much and you dont loose the minuites at the end of the year if you buy another minuite plan, we have accumulated about 1200 minuites on each of our phones.
