I signed up and got locals with my package just last August and just in standard picture, and just a few months later all of a sudden now without Direct Tv telling me the locals are now in HD, As they are doing locals in HD. They keep adding HD and standard locals in different areas all the time, it may be worth a person time to go and check on their area again.

Dropped them about 2months ago, too. Called to ask for service to our kennel on our property and they said we'd have to add a whole new service - twice the price of course. It's the same account I said. Didn't matter. Talked to 9 different people after calling 3 different numbers. 2 people, I couldn't understand. They remotely interrupted our service, said we'd need to have someone come out an make sure we hadn't done something we shouldn't have, WHAT? I just wanted to add a receiver to our out building. That was it. As a small business owner I would have fired, on the spot, all 9 people that I talked to that day including the higher level supervisor, for their attitudes and customer service. We are good customers; pay the bill on time all the time. Guess that wasn't important. Sure is to me in business. Called Direct TV and they were out the next day, installed in the kennel and the house, and saves about $10.00 a month, too.
