We always pray before meals whether we are home or out in a restaurant or in another's home or where ever.
We all say it together, the same prayer at every meal, with hands together in "prayer hands" position.
That doesn't make sense to me that my family praying is somehow offensive to the people around us. Give me a break. To each his own. I believe in my Lord and that *should* be my right as a U.S. Citizen [a freedom both my husband and I were willing to fight for in the U.S. Military in fact].
I don't care for the hideously immodest clothing many people wear out to eat myself, but I fully respect their right to wear it [I was willing to fight for them to have that freedom too

]. I certainly expect the same consideration for my right to pray to God.
If someone does not believe in God, then why on Earth would they care if I pray or not? If they don't believe in God, then I'm just wasting my breath, why does that bother them?
Simply being a Christian seems to be offensive in and of itself these days, but they are gonna have to just go on and throw me to the lions on that one because it isn't gonna change and I'm not going to eat without thanking my generous God for the food.
