I'd like to enter. I'm not homesteading yet, other than learning and doing what I can in my city apartment. But WHEN I DO start homesteading, it's looking like it will be just me by myself.

Please enter my name. I am still learning great deals of self relience from afar. My husband grew up on a homestead but only remembers the hard work and doesnt want to return. While I grew up in the city and would love to be able to grow my own food, look at a pantry full of the cans I filled, and baskets full of eggs I have to sell so they dont go bad. Thanks joyc

Please enter my name, too.

I'm a single homesteading woman and would love the book.

I used to subscribe to Backwoods Home (but only get to read it occasionally now) so I am familiar with Jackie Clay and her journey.

I would like to enter. Thankfully I am not widowed, but have faced some very difficult challenges the past couple years, and would like to read about how Jackie faced hers.

The winner of Jackie Clay's book, "Starting Over: The Chronicles of a Self-Reliant Woman" is Hilltop Daisy!

And due to the generousity of a donor who would like to remain anonymous, anettemartinrn is also a winner!

Congratulations to both of you!
