Well I know it will take the Skin and Meat off your Body.I know I was using it to take Hair off a Hide.I went to wash my hands,skin and meat came off all my fingers.Took two months to heal.Still have scares.

It also makes a good dust for cabbage family plants to keep bugs away. (cabbage, brussel sprouts, colliflower....)

You can boil your white clothes in water to which ash has been added and it will bleach them.
