lazy mans way of cleaning stove pipes

I run the brush thru my pipe monthly when using the woodstove. Then when I shut the thing down in the late spring for the season, I have the Chimney Sweep out to clean it out good. Like Rock says run a good hot wide open fire a couple of times a day before damping it down, works wonders

No coal on my property. Plenty of wood. Seems like a no brainer to me.
