Thanks, Wildwisc, for that site - I'm going to get some. I'm ashamed to say that I don't always drain the tanks of mowers, etc. before winter, and I also have a car (90 Grand Marquis) that's been sitting with half a tank for a couple of years because it is a gas hog, and I bought a smaller car (91 Olds 88) that's much easier on gas.

Thank you everyone - we gave some to a neighbor who said he mixes it for his dump truck and he mixes it with good gas for his tractor too. I kept some for the burn pile but we will be careful. Thank you about the stabilizers, we will use that next time.

I know my old WD doesnt seem to mind old gas .
Ive drained the tanks on cars that have been sitting for three years and mixed it half and half with new gas, a can of HEET will restore part of the Octane value. It will burn fine in a low compression engine
