One of the local real estate agents has some information on his site about buying property if you are a non-resident. This Island is very popular with folks from Ohio for some reason. One of my nearest neighbours is a family from Canton who come up for a few weeks every summer.

In Elmer Fudd season, I see a lot of Michigan plates belonging to hunters who have bought hunt camps and only visit us one week a year.
