To see just how much juice the govt has, simply forego paying tribute each year (property taxes)... After it's all over, if you're lucky, you'll still be a free man, although you might be living under a bridge.

Till this govt. falls, I'll pay tribute in Federal Reserve Notes. If a warlord, in the next stage of discivilization appears and demands tribute, hopefully I'll have enough of the currency required...
the ONLY REAL ownership of land is incorporate into a Church-Home! Once your no longer paying taxes on the property, then the Government isn't renting it to you anymore.

Which would be dishonest... unless you are a registered 501(c)3, under which case an individual can't own a "church-home" as you call it.

Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's... someone said that once.

I read through most of the posts, but I didn't see just how many goats do you have???? Are they noisy enough to draw people's attention???? If you were my neighbr and had a bunch of goats, I wouldn't be too happy, but if you had one or two goats, I wouldn't say anything; especially if I knew about your son's allergies.
