The Germans aren't too keen on flying national flags.

You're right. I'm in New Hampshire. Where they taught us to read. Even tough things like state and federal statutes.

The whole Texas nationalism thing is outrageously stupid anyway. The Republic of Texas was a creature of the United States, set up to provide a pretext for expansionism.

I just happen to have a paper here about the flag. It says, "No other flag may be flown above or, if on the same level, to the right of the U.S. flag, except that at the United Nations headquarters the U.N. flag may be". It doesn't state any more specifics than that, but that's probably a good guideline.

Enjoy your new flag, Modern Pioneer

Yeh, I've heard that Alaska is nearly as big as some of our cattle stations.

I fly the US flag 24/7

Illuminated at night. Under it is my beloved Confederate flag. Of course, anyone who has heard me speak KNOWS that I'm not from MO, the mid-west, west or north. Some sure have preconceived ideas about southern belles. LOL I consider my flags as a message to all traffic that passes and anyone who dares to stop. I'm proud to be an american first and a johnny reb second. I know our country is in bad shape but I'd rather be in the US than anywhere else.

The flag code does not require you to fly a US flag (unless you are a federal institution) and does not forbid you from flying a foreign flag by itself.
