Deer Hunting in WI is Big Business and every little store for miles around sells "deer Corn" before deer Gun Season~! With a population of around 2 million deer, we have lots of white tail around the State of WI.

You should see what they get for 5 ears of corn that people use to feed squirrels

And guess what? They only eat a few kernels and birds end up with most of it! When the snow began melting around here last month, I found 15-20 ears with just some of the end kernels missing. Now that the snow is gone, the squirrels ain't touching them. I collect them for the pigeons but haven't a clue as to whom to thank since none of my immediate neighbors have a soft spot for squirrels other than eating them.
