It varies from state to state but you should be able to find it at the farm store or have them order it for you.

Yes it's called Rodeo. The active ingredient is the same as that found in Round-up I believe.

Do you not have goats anymore? Got a friend with goats? Or would the herbicide in the cattails poison them? Won't it poison fish? Won't diesel fuel poison fish? I don't think I'd want to eat those fish.

Not intending to give offense, I just know those things are toxic, and using them where food fish are raised would worry me.

What about grain alcohol? It burns, it evaporates, wouldn't persist in the environment like a lot of other things. Cattails flambé.

Not only the main ingredient, Rodeo and Roundup are identical. They share the same chemical identifier number. I use roundup around my pond for water primrose regularly ( it is near impossible to wipe out completely ) and apply it to leaves of cattails when they are young. Haven't had any cattails in about 4 years.

Rodeo is Good

We sprayed some of ours with Rodeo last year, before they went to seed.
After they had dried, we burned them back to the water.
Waiting to see if it works completely.
I have 2 more beds to spray & burn.
I may leave one small bed, for Wildlife.

But Monsanto makes Rodeo (and Roundup), so it can't be good.
