PW/Jet Pump in a bored well. Wish I had a drilled well, especially after the drought we had this past year.

Rural water. it was a no-brainer as far as costs went. I have a pond for livestock and agricultueral use and it can also double for firefighting water supply. Also have a creek way back on the property.

All that said I'm planning on trying to drive a couple of sandpoint type of wells here. I've done them in sandy areas before with a lot of success but my homestead has clay down deep. I don't know if it will work or not but I want to try. If not I might try one of those home well drilling rigs. I won't be using it for drinking. The well driller i talked to said there so many ag chemicals and nitrates in the water that it costs an arm and a leg to treat the water to make it safe to drink. I'm just going to use it for agricultural use and as a dire TEOTWAWKI emergency source or water.
